MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE (MOC) WORKSHOPS
We have now had about a month to internalise the learnings from the Management of Change workshops that you conducted to facilitate a smooth implementation of SAP.
On behalf of the SAP team and the sponsors of the SAP implementation project here I would like to thank you for making this a very effective programme.
It has become very clear to me that organisational readiness is what successful SAP implementations are all about. Design and construction are vital but one of the most critical success factors is how the organisation is positioned to use and leverage a tool like SAP and this sometimes involves radical paradigm shifts. I believe the SAP synergy sessions that you conducted were a perfectly timed wake-up call for the managers and supervisors of our user base.
The "transfer of ownership" that you kept talking about is clearly happening and that I believe is the best measure of success of the work. Communication sessions have been launched, change management issues have been clearly understood in most departments and I feel very comfortable that we have our challenges defined and articulated. You've given us the framework, we have the plans and now it's down to diligent execution.
Thanks also for the “going the extra mile” (or many miles) to ensure this work exactly fitted our needs.
